LeGaBiBo (Lesbians, Gays and Bisexuals of Botswana) – The first LGBTI organization in Botswana. It was founded by Ditshwanelo.
Iranti-Org – A queer human rights visual media organization based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Iranti-Org works within a human rights framework as its foundational platform for raising issues on Gender, Identities and Sexuality.
Freedom Sudan – Freedom Sudan is the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) organization in Sudan. Our organization has been formed in December 2006. Our status is illegal. Homosexual behavior is illegal in Sudan and homosexuals facing the death penalty. That’s why our organization was formed in secret and all our activities are carried out secretly, hoping that one day we will get accepted in our communities and even in our families, and hope that we can be FREE to be the way we are. Freedom Sudan is an organization run by volunteers only.
OutRight Namibia – Out Rights Namibia (ORN) is Namibian LGBTI, MSM and WSW human rights based organisation that was formed in March 2010 by self identified LGBTI, MSM and WSW activists and officially registered in November 2010 as a Trust. ORN advocates as the voice for Lesbian Women/ Gay men/ Bisexuals, Transgender and Intersex people in Namibia to further address, redress and arrest the amount of homophobia rhetoric in the country.

School of Women’s and Gender Studies, Makerere University, Uganda – The School of Women and Gender Studies is a multidisciplinary academic unit. It is at the forefront of academic initiatives to address gender and development issues from an African perspective. Free Gender – A black lesbian organisation based in Khayelitsha township of Cape Town. As human rights defenders, we are also gender friendly towards transgender and intersex persons in our community. The organisation was founded in 2008 and have since participated in various protests/ political meetings/ guest talks at academic and public forums. We also supported different stakeholders whose common objectives are relevant to our mandate.

Transitioning Africa – SIPD is a grassroots not-for-profit support initiative in Uganda, which through community outreach and engagement, provides reliable and objective information on the plight of persons with atypical sex development (also preferably known as intersex conditions) and similar anatomical variances in Uganda. SIPD particularly addresses the human rights, sexual and reproductive health, and support of intersex children and people. We also focus on support for parents of intersex children.
