These fearless winds

by Giftedjenks

The force of the wind brings tears to the outer corners of my eyes,

Feeling the pressure against my chest I push forward,

against the coldness on my skin.

Briskly moving against the winds that are trying to hold me back,

I think about our future ,

I think about our children who have to see what’s to come.

Protecting in nurturing against these winds…

Life we will teach our children how to survive, these winds…
