A PanAfricanist Queer Womanist Collective
Agenda celebrated 25 years of women’s voices in the academic space and the tireless work by a group of gender activists and feminists. The publication was started as a means of creating a space for the voice of women within male dominated spaces and seeks to now continue to nurture and grow the voice of forward thinking females within Southern Africa and the continent in general. It has been at the head of feminist publishing in South Africa for 25 years and this event was to mark it turning a quarter of a century. The event included speeches by contributors and editors as well as other prominent women within the academic publishing field.
The publication continues to call for young women to contribute to the knowledge production on the African continent.
The publication is based online for access to all.
